The Ratscape Archives: A Plug for My Creative Outlet
The name “Ratscape” originated as my online handle for a few message boards back in the days before Facebook, Twitter and Instagram existed.
As Ratscape, I began creating pop-culture themed artwork and shared it on various message boards, websites and social media platforms. Over the years, the art caught on and became popular within the different online communities. A few are commissioned pieces but most are personal works – my lighthearted takes on TV shows, movies and comic books – made as a fan and all in good fun.
This continues to be one of my creative outlets – a way for me to combine my graphic design and illustration skills and exercise my creative process while expressing my not-so-serious side and love for all things pop culture.
So, lucky you! I’ve rounded up all this art and placed it into one online gallery. If you are a fan of the popular arts and are looking to kill some time, maybe have a chuckle, I invite you to browse through the Ratscape Archives.
Here are a few examples of what you can expect to see.
